There have been reports of higher numbers of airport detentions of people without valid US visas or people with expired visas, including spouses of US Citizens, as part of an expanding arrangement between TSA and ICE. These detentions have happened 15+ United States airports; the immigration agents are dressed in plain clothes and detaining people at check-in counters and arrival gates.
