Ellie Jordan is an Administrative and Legal Assistant at Binsfeld Law Firm, PLLC. Ellie enjoys assisting all types of legal matters, but has a particular interest in U visas and citizenship cases. Ellie is relatively new to the legal field but has a strong passion for policy and working with intention and care to make the immigration process accessible and easier for all.
Ellie studied global studies and environmental science at the University of Minnesota, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Since graduating, she has spent time teaching English and living in northern and southern Spain. She has also lived in Argentina, where she learned core Spanish language skills in a variety of dialects. She is conversational in Spanish and English and enjoys conversing with clients in both languages.
Ellie chose to work in immigration law for many reasons, but primarily because the field allows her to work closely with others to resolve complex problems imposed upon immigrants and to help keep America the place it prides itself to be – open and welcoming to all.
Ellie lives in Minneapolis and is an avid reader, hiker, cook, traveler, biker, yogi, and music fan. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the cities and at the lake.
